Wow. It seems that the CoBirds RBA has caught the virus and died. RIP. It
was a great run and sincere thanks to Joyce and all who did it for so many
years!

I like the suggestion that it continue as a forum for discussing Colorado
birds and neat birding experiences. We are already doing that. Dave
Leatherman and Ted Floyd would continue to contribute their birding
adventures and keen insights. Any of us could do that. We could discuss
topics like "Where has Tucker Gulch been all my life? Why was it so hot
this year?" SWA access problems etc. Bryan Guarante's wind condition
alerts. It would not prohibit discussion of rare birds like Fork-tailed
Flycatchers or the Pterodactyl that Ira Sanders photographed flying over
his house. But the primary reporting of rare birds would fall to eBird.
More emphasis on bird watching than bird listing.

Who would sponsor it? CFO? DFO? Both jointly? We would need a referee or
referees and some basic rules.
