In what might have been the worst of the recent hot, muggy, smoke-filled days, we had another big day, with 80 birds banded. Nothing unusual, with Wilson's Warblers continuing to lead the way, accompanied by our typical mix of other Warblers, several Sparrows, and a few others. Here's today's breakdown:

We are doing three one-hour time slots, from 8-9, 9-10, and 10-11, on Tuesdays and then Thursdays through Sundays, through October 11. There is a $5 per person fee; scholarships are available to those unable to pay. All visitors, staff and volunteers will be wearing masks and people will be expected to socially distance.
