Birders,

Although they are not considered strongly migratory, Canyon Towhees are only present in the fall, winter and spring around Las Animas, Bent County. I get them in my yard about three out of every four years, and they often stay until spring. My first one of the season just appeared this afternoon. I still have a couple of Black-chinned Hummingbirds frequenting my feeders. Birders are welcome, but I'd prefer advance notice.

I went to Adobe Creek Reservoir (Bent and Kiowa Counties) this morning, and failed to find Reddish Egret, American Golden-Plover, Sabine's Gull or anything I consider worthy of posting to cobirds.
