As I watched one immature Harris’s Sparrow at the Barr Lake SP visitor center this morning, a second popped in to join the first.
At about 10:40 a.m. a flock of about 40 Sandhill Cranes flew over. A few minutes latter, a group of about 120 flew over the lake bed to circle in a thermal.
