mea culpa!! In my haste I neglected to mention where on the planet Scott County (Kansas) is located. Scott County is THREE COUNTIES EAST of the CO/KS state line . . . it's about 60-ish miles East of that border and about 100 North of the OK/KS state, line. The park is at the northern part of the county north of Scott City, which is the county seat. The park, which is a true oasis, hosted Kansas' Piratic Flycatcher a few years back . . .
