Mitchell, I live fairly close to the Gyrfalcon's usual winter hangout in Larimer County and have been checking in to see if the bird is around multiple times a week. Nothing so far, but I am hoping that the individual is still alive. Hoping for its return and knowing there's a chance of refinding the Gyrfalcon makes birding in the area a little more exciting and motivates me to get out. Good luck to all winter raptor watchers!!
