Joe and I only met in person a few times, but emailed many times. He helped me in properly documenting rare bird sightings several times. He encouraged me to join the Denver Field Ornithologists. I can't say enough great things about him, because it would take hours! My thoughts are with his family. Susan Rosine Brighton
