Birders, Living in Ouray, I haven't birded a lot on the Eastern Slope, but I met Joe at the Ross's Gull at Cherry Creek and ran into him a couple of other times, too. He was, as everyone has said, cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable. He we was the only birder from CoBirds who ever paid any attention to some of my posts on wsbn, and he often weighed in on them, and he was kind about answering my questions about reporting.
