I usually have a meadowlark in my little meadow here in the foothills at 6,000 ft. in the summer. Have never heard or seen one except for the warm 4-5 months, so I suspect they altitudinally migrate down to the plains at least.
Weirdly this year... we've had 2-3 Clark's Nutcrackers for 2-3 months now. Previous records in 20 years here have been 3 individuals, all for 1 day in various Septembers. Could it be my peanut feeder? davis - Larimer County, 5 miles NW of Lyons -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
