I’m in the midst of my Colorado Springs CBC day, but thought some of you would want to know there is an adult Northern Goshawk in the Stratton Open Space area. We spotted it in the Cresta Trail section, about 200 meters behind Cheyenne Mountain High School. I’m afraid I did not get photos, as we came over a small rise and surprised it while it was eating a Cottontail Rabbit. It flew off with the rest of the rabbit.
