Hey, all.

Please join us this coming *Sun., Mar. 7,* for the monthly installment of
"Lafayette Birds!" We begin at *1pm* at the Greenlee Wildlife Preserve,
Boulder County, trailhead.

Some birds around Greenlee & environs these first few days of Mar. 2021
have included: a dozen species of waterfowl; a continuing first-winter
*northern
shrike;* *mountain chickadees* still hanging on; several *bushtit* pairs;
widespread *red-breasted nuthatches;* a peripatetic *Townsend solitaire;*
and the continuing *white-throated sparrow.* Various FOS's are possible,
especially given the forecast for warm weather; perhaps we'll see a
cinnamon teal or Say phoebes or American white pelicans.

*We will bird in small, socially distanced groups (**≤** 10 persons, incl.
group leaders). Sign-in, for COVID-19 contact tracing, is mandatory; arrive
a bit early for that, please. Masks also mandatory.*

"Lafayette Birds!" is sponsored by the City of Lafayette, and is free and
open to the public. All are welcome, children and curiosity-seekers
especially so. No experience necessary. Bring a camera and binoculars if
you have them.

Hope to see some of you on Sunday!
