You might not want to exclude Cassin’s Finch by season yet - I saw one this 
morning in my yard in NW COS, and others all week. But I can almost always see 
their distinctive “crest”. Not many males this winter, maybe only a handful, 
and not in the last six weeks, but “female” types are still coming to the 
feeders.
