All,

To piggy-back on Ira's post, there are at least 4 different Purple Finches
that have been seen in Larimer County today. One male at a feeder in
Loveland, a female type at a residence near Horsetooth Mountain Park,
another female type at a residence in west Fort Collins as well as a female
type near Southridge Golf course in SE Fort Collins. Myself and several
others got eyes on the one in west Fort Collins. It would appear that any
Purple Finches in the area are on the move as these were all new
observations today. Birders should keep their eyes open for this species
on the front range this weekend. I have pasted the link to my Ebird
checklist with one photo of the west Fort Collins bird.
