Got some feedback from WhatBirders ... " I mean, that's kind of what my 
post tried to imply (Yellow-footed Gull) - these are rarer species that 
probably can't be eliminated from a single poor photo, but it's probably 
safe to call this one a *Less Black Back* until proven otherwise "

Looks like my dream of "Yellow-footed Gull" are "crushed" 😞 as anticipated 
... that size of bird just threw me off raised some hope 🙂
