The 6 Red-necked Phalaropes are continuing at the Douglas County Equestrian
Park as of yesterday 5/14 afternoon. This park is good for closer views of
shorebirds and has a great mud flat and shore line on the south side. Other
shorebirds included:

1 Marbled Godwit
9 Long-billed Dowitchers
3 American Avocets
1 Greater Yellowlegs
2 Wilson’s Phalaropes
1 Baird’s Sandpiper
2 spotted Sandpipers

8 shorebirds at this little lake. Pretty cool. Here is my list with a few
photos.

Chatfield Lake is up and the sand spit has disappeared.
