As I have been doing my daily walks around Cherry Creek State Park (the west 
side), I’ve seen large flocks of magpies as well.  Last week there was a flock 
of about 25 on the ground. This morning, there were two flocks flying over — 
each with about 30-40 birds.

I don’t remember seeing that last year, for sure!
