Today we had a fairly slow day, with 17 newly banded birds of 11 species,
including our first Brewer's Sparrow and Hairy Woodpecker of the season.
The Chippings Sparrows that have been numerous in previous days were
nowhere to be seen and bird activity stayed low throughout the morning.
Here are our totals today:

Wilson's Warbler - 3
Yellow Warbler - 2
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
MacGillivray's Warbler - 2
Willow Flycatcher - 1
Western Wood-pewee - 2
House Wren - 2
Brewer's Sparrow - 1
Song Sparrow - 1
Gray Catbird - 1
Hairy Woodpecker - 1

We are open 6 days a week, weather permitting through October 23. Closed
Mondays. Click here
