We had another fairly slow morning at Barr Lake today, with the usual mix
of sparrows and warblers that we expect in late September. The highlight
was a dainty Clay-colored Sparrow, not the first of the season but
definitely a species we don't see a lot of. Here is the breakdown of our 16
newly banded birds of 7 species.

House Wren - 1
Wilson's Warbler - 9
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
Green-tailed Towhee - 1
Clay-colored Sparrow - 1
Lincoln's Sparrow - 2
Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow - 1
