Twice as many birds banded as Sunday, for a total of 10, as the slow season
continues. We did have a rare bird today - a lovely adult male
Black-throated Blue Warbler - only the third caught in the past 15 years.
Here's the breakdown:

House Wren 3
Hermit Thrush 1
Gray Catbird 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler 1
Spotted Towhee 1
Lincoln's Sparrow 1
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 1

We are open 6 days a week, weather permitting through October 23. Closed
Mondays.  Click here
<https://birdconservancy.doubleknot.com/event/calendar/4525> to register to
visit - we are offering one-hour slots (up to 12 visitors at a time);
7:30-8:30 most weekdays, and 8-9, 9-10, and 10-11 on weekends. Come visit!
