COBirders, In an attempt at humor, I may have led some of you to think that young Red-tailed Hawks regularly prey on fox squirrels. Actually, these squirrels are really tough little creatures with strong jaws and sharp teeth that can bite off the foot of a large hawk. Therefore, my photo shows a rare scene.
