Yesterday we had 30 folks in what turned out to be a lovely sunny day except that a steady cold wind made birding a challenge. Though I don't have final results from all our groups, it seems we missed some common species and overall numbers of songbirds were reduced. However, it was a bonus to pick up a couple of species that are infrequent on this count... a lone Harris's Sparrow and 2 Snow Geese.
