The Eurasian Widgeon was still at Pella Crossing this morning, in among a
large flotilla of American Widgeons, Redheads, Common Mergansers, and a
very busy male Hooded Merganser.

The pond closest to the parking lot was totally frozen this morning, so we
figured if the bird was there, it would be in that first pond on the west
side of N75th. That pond tends to stay open. Sure enough., the Eurasian was
there. Quite a few birders were there, all getting good looks at him.
