A Saw-whet Owl has been calling for an hour now along Massey Draw near my home.
It is not their nesting habitat near my home (although they nest in forest
within a few miles) but there is a pattern of calling birds in the hogback area
here in late winter. This one is calling real steady with little breaks , and
it’s a real treat.
