Well, the bird did not come back while I was there. The wind had really
picked up; the ducks that left may have flown to nearby Barr Lake State
Park, or another pond to huddle down. The harrier stayed for awhile, then a
Bald Eagle briefly cruised over. Two other birders came while I was there,
but alas, the Wigeon was gone. The AMWIs do love that pond, so I will check
there again tomorrow and see if our Eurasian visitor comes back. Funny
thing...I only stopped there to see if any Great-tailed Grackles were back
at that location yet ..they weren't.
