Hey, all.

The monthly "Lafayette Birds!" outing will be held tomorrow afternoon,
Sun., Apr. 3, at Greenlee Wildlife Preserve in Lafayette, Boulder Co. We'll
get started at 1pm MDT at The Shack, the name given the information kiosk
at the entrance to the preserve.

No RSVP necessary, no experience necessary. All are welcome--children,
families, and bird-curious folk especially. Bring binoculars and a camera
if you have them. The outing, sponsored by the City of Lafayette, is free
and open to the public.

Expect to see a diversity of raptors, waterfowl, songbirds, and more. We
might see the first butterflies of the spring, too. And here's a thought:
With winds forecast to be out of the west overnight, shifting to the south,
conditions could be ideal for producing the preserve's first-ever sagebrush
sparrow! If somebody finds one, I will give orange jelly slices to every
participant! If I find the bird, everybody has to give *me* a bag of orange
jelly slices.

Hope to see you tomorrow!
