Paula Bauer and I observed and photographed the Brown Pelican on the
Douglas County side in the last gravel pond south of Kingfisher Bridge. It
was sleeping on an island with about 35 American White Pelicans, but did
wake up and stretch its wings allowing me to get some photos. Hopefully it
will stick around.
