A slower day - the flocks of Yellow-rumpeds we've been seeing and catching
seemed to have moved on. We closed most nets a little early due to heat
and wind. Only banded 13, plus we caught 2 birds banded in prior years:

House Wren 5
Yellow Warbler 3
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 1
Common Yellowthroat 1
Yellow-breasted Chat 1 new, plus 1 banded 2019
Spotted Towhee 1 new, 1 banded 2018
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 1

We are open 6 mornings per week, closed on Mondays. Registration is
required to visit on the weekends - there are three 1 hour sessions,
starting at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30. Go here
<https://denveraudubon.org/events/> to register. There are school groups
every week day, arriving about 9:30. Individuals may drop by early
mornings during the week although there are groups visiting early on some
days.
