Slow Bird day today. Maybe the birds know what is coming and high-tailing 
out of the area. The storm Friday night and Saturday will definitely affect 
bird migration. 
Twelve species of bird captured today.

MacGillivray's Warbler -1
Western 'Cordilleran' Flycatcher -1
Dusky Flycatcher -1
American Goldfinch -1
White-eyed Vireo -1
Hermit Thrush -2
Spotted Towhee -1
Northern Mockingbird -1
Bullock's Oriole -1
Black-headed Grosbeak -1

*2 Recaptures*
Ovenbird- banded 2 days ago- gaining weight
Bullock's Oriole male - New returning bird banded in previous years

The Banding station will be operating through May 27th except on Monday May 
24th. The nets are open 5 hours each day. First net check is around 6 am. 
Stop by and visit if you are in the area.
