Colorado Field Ornithologists (CFO) is hosting a Hummingbird Identification Workshop comprised of a webinar and several field trips this summer. Here's your opportunity to become familiar with the more subtle and challenging aspects of identifying the four hummingbirds (including the hard-to-identify female and immature of these species) we generally see in Colorado. In addition, we will explore the rare hummingbirds that also visit our state.

Up to 12 participants for this field trip. Saturday, August 6th (7:00 am – 9:30 am) – Littleton: Backyard Hummer and Plant Identification. Hosted and led by Tina Jones at her home. Up to 8 participants for this field trip. Saturday, August 6th (7:00 am – 12:00 pm) – Lyons: Peaceful Valley Banding and ID. Location is Bouricius Cabin in Peaceful Valley. Led by Steve Bouricius.
