Hi, The Rock Pigeons that are "allowed" by eBird filters are those reported as Rock Pigeon (Feral Pigeon), as the Rock Pigeons in North America are of feral origin, to differentiate from wild type Rock Pigeons that occur locally in Europe. So when the species is reported in CO simply as Rock Pigeon it is filtered as "rare" in eBird. But the birds being reported are not... rare, that is.
