Hi all, This morning, Luke Pheneger recorded what seems to be a group of CASSIA CROSSBILLS in Summit County. Recordings were sent to Matt Young and Tim Spahr, who both came back with the conclusion that they seem to be Cassia. The birds were recorded around here: (39.7184582, -106.1552664). More birders getting more recordings of these birds would be helpful, but it seems that this is the second instance of this species in the state. Good luck to any chasers!
