Cobirders, It's my understanding that quite a lot of Cassia Crossbills have been banded in Idaho over the years. The ratio of the fraction of banded Cassia to banded Red must be enormous. If you see crossbills in CO, please take a special look out for leg bands, as it's possible that that could help determine whether the CO Cassias have dispersed from southern ID.
