A hatch-year Blackburnian Warbler was at the upper part of the Meadowlark
Trail in Deer Creek Canyon Park this morning. With a mixed flock that moved
on. But I saw it 1.1 to 1.2 miles up from the trailhead.

Our White-throated Swift roost watch tallied 355 White-throated Swifts
entering the Deer Creek roost from 5:10 pm until about 6:16 pm. About 185
entered in about 2 min to conclude the evening. No further sightings of the
hunting Red-tailed Hawk.

As I climbed out of the car at my driveway after the swifts a flock of
Sandhill Cranes passed south over Ken Caryl -- about 190 in the flock,
calling the whole way. Love it!
