In the mobile app, go to Explore tab and press Species under Species
Observed. You can enter the species name there, which will show a map with
recent sightings of the bird.

I'm not sure how to do it on the website.

I'm a software developer, so I created a page that shows me all eBird rare
bird sightings within 50 miles on a map, because that is easier to digest
than the daily rare bird emails.
