We are starting to see and hear a few of the birds that bring excitement 
and amazement each spring....sandhill cranes! Only a few so far but enough 
for us to be watching in anticipation. We await the Refuge to turn on the 
water and watch as magically the cranes appear almost overnight. Will keep 
you posted....
