Went out to Union Res last night and this morning, figuring the weather
might bring in some shorebirds-and it certainly helped make it "extra"
birdy. All of these were seen in the NW corner (basically County Line Rd
and CR 28). A scope will be handy if you have one.

In no particular order:
1 Lesser black-backed gull
22 Forster's terns (personal high count for Union)
5 LB dowitcher
scads of Greater/Lesser YL's
Blue/Green wing teal
2 Wilson's snipe
2 Godwits
5 Lesser SP's
8 Franklins gulls
30+ Bonapartes gulls
Willets
Avocet
Ducks, ducks, ducks.
(Saw a raft of 31 Eared grebes on Monday, didn't see them today).

Visited yesterday evening and again at 6 am today (4/26). Great way to
start today listening to all the wonderful sounds .
