The pattern of Week One continued today, with the same early migrants
dominating - House Wrens, Yellow-rumped Warblers, and Lincoln's Sparrows.

Here's the breakdown of today's 25 new and return captures:

Downy Woodpecker 1
Black-capped Chickadee 1 banded 2019
House Wren 8 new, 2 banded 2022
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 3
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 5
Spotted Towhee 1 banded 2021
Lincoln's Sparrow 3
Song Sparrow 1

We will be banding mornings Tuesday through Sunday (closed on Mondays)
through May 31. Denver Audubon has scheduled one-hour time slots at 7:30,
8:30 and 9:30 for visitors on weekends; visit here
<https://denveraudubon.org/events/> to register. (I believe many time
slots are already sold out, so register soon if you would like to visit.)
