Activity picked up a bit today; we had a total of 37 new birds (32 banded
today, 5 returns from prior years) of 14 species. Yellow-rumped Warblers
are down, Yellows are up, including 4 that we banded in prior years.
Caught our first Hermit Thrush of the season, arriving almost 2 weeks
behind its usual date. No Swainson's yet; they are also late.

Here's the breakdown for today:

House Wren 9 new, 1 banded 2022
Hermit Thrush 1

Today started week 3 of our 5 week season. Denver Audubon has scheduled
one-hour time slots at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 for visitors on weekends; visit
here <https://denveraudubon.org/events/> to register. (I believe many time
slots are already sold out, so register soon if you would like to visit.)
