I woke up at 6 am to a Black-headed Grosbeak singing from a neighbor’s roof— he was so loud that I could hear him with my doors and windows closed.
Sparrows: Lincoln’s Sparrow eating on my patio next to a White-crowned Sparrow. A Chipping Sparrow is feeding under a bush next to a fir tree where another White-crowned is belting out his song!
