Thanks, Eric! (And thanks, indirectly, Hugh and Sharon.) I listened to (and looked at, that's the key) my goldfinch recording again, and I see yet another species in there: black-billed magpie, clearly so, in several instances. That goldfinch is a good earbirder. :-)
