Been riding my bike at the Monte Refuge and stopping often to listen for the characteristic clicking of the Yellow Rail. But no luck so far...just Wilson's Snipe still winnowing, Marsh Wren, Sora and other marsh birds. With as expansive as those wetlands are, the birds could easily be in a new, closed area and may not get detected. Will keep listening...
