Today had a nice diversity of species captured including five warbler species. Eight species were new for the year or season (Least Flycatcher, Townsend's Warbler, Black- and- white Warbler, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Lincoln's Sparrow, Bullock's Oriole, and Broad-tailed Hummingbird.) We have caught three species of Hummingbirds in the last 3 days- Broad-tailed, Rufous, and Black-chinned. No recaptures have been caught yet this week. Birds are not sticking around and continuing on south. *28 New Birds Banded* Wilson's Warbler-2 Yellow Warbler- 1 Orange-crowned Warbler- 1 Townsend's Warbler- 1 Black-and-white Warbler- 1 Dusky Flycatcher- 1 Least Flycatcher- 1 Western Wood-pewee- 1 House Wren- 1 Red-breasted Nuthatch- 1 Lincoln's Sparrow- 1 Lazuli Bunting- 4 Yellow-breasted Chat- 1 Blue Grosbeak- 1 Bullock's Oriole- 1 Spotted Towhee- 1 Brown Thrasher- 7
