We were working on a new low for mid-September (having caught only 5 new 
birds) until the closing run when we picked up 2 Chipping Sparrows and a 
very feisty Hairy Woodpecker, for a total of 8 new birds to match yesterday:

Hairy Woodpecker 1
House Wren 1
Swainson's Thrush 1
Wilson's Warbler 2
Green-tailed Towhee 1
Chipping Sparrow 2

If you would like to visit, we have one-hour slots (up to 15 visitors at a 
time) from 7:30-8:30 most weekday mornings (Tues-Fri, we are closed on Mon) 
and 8, 9 , and 10 a.m. one-hour time slots on the weekends.  Click here
