Banding was kicked off at Connected Lakes this past week on September 18th!
It was a pretty slow week but I'm looking forward to the next 3 weeks of
banding! Some interesting captures we had included 2 Gambel's White-crowned
Sparrow, a Bushtit, and a Black-capped Chickadee that were banding at the
station last year!
Or banding totals for week one include:

Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1
House Finch - 1
Cassin's Vireo - 1
Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow - 3
Wilson's Warbler - 8
Black-capped Chickadee - 1
Dusky Flycatcher - 1
Western Flycatcher - 1
Bewick's Wren - 3
Bushtit - 2
Red-shafted Flicker - 1
Spotted Towhee - 1

Banding will continue at Connected Lakes State Park Monday through Friday
from 9/25 to 10/13 from 7am to 12pm.
