It started off pretty slow this week at Connected lakes. Monday we weren't
able to open our nets due to rain and Tuesday and Wednesday we only caught
3 birds. But it really picked up on Thursday with 5 new birds!

Our banding totals for October 3rd to 6th are:
Gamble's White-crowned Sparrow 7 (and 2 recaptures)
Spotted Towhee 6 (and 2 recaptures)
House Finch 1
Slate-colored Junco 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Wilson's Warbler 1

Banding will continue at Connected Lakes State Park Monday through Friday
from 10/9 to 10/13 from approximately 7am to 1 pm, weather permitting.
