Hello!
Coccinelle supports the application of regular expressions at some places. I
would like to clarify their uses in the semantic patch language in combination
with capturing/grouping parentheses.
Can the matched subexpressions be assigned to (meta-)variables so that the
extracted strings can be reused for source code adjustments like identifier changes?
