We could perhaps emit a warning message if an identifier that is parsed as a type in the metavar declarations has a 1-edit distance to a metavardecl keyword.
The "symbol" declarations that I added a while ago can always be used to shut these warnings up if they would turn out to be annoying in particular cases.
