1. There is no difference in the performance of dynamically compiled .aspx and �code 
behind�   2. Equivalent code written in VB and C# provides equivalent performance at 
runtime   3.To increse the performance of the code, Avoid using late binding in VB and 
JScript. Explicitly declare all variable types (Dim userName as String)   
4.Transitions between �managed� and �unmanaged� code can be expensive.   5.Ideally 
migrate COM code to .NET   6. Generate early bound .NET wrappers for COM components
