We are talking about a few kb of data here, ie all, but some folk might not apprecaite it. RSS feeds is a simple xml format for exposing news/information. This kind of information typically comprises of updates, new articles etc to sites. MSDN, GotDotNet, various Blog sites etc do maintain RSS feeds. While you can read the xml manually, it is nice to use a reader. I use one called Beaver ( iahvent explored too many others).
