Hi
all,
Have u people ever come across a
tool(front end) for writing Stored Procedures into a DB2
Database......

Though
this is a .NET group, i just asked since the only one such tool that i came
across was one from IBM's site which is infact a VB.Net plugin (DB2
Development Add-in)similar to SQL enterprise manager whereby u could write a
stored proc into a db2 database using a visual interface.

I searched a lot, and at all places
i got references (either C or Java Code) whereby u could load a stored proc
using a C/Java Program.
BTW...
did u guys know that access too has something like that.. u could write/load
stored procs in MS-access.. though u wont be able to see that in u'r access
front end!!! but could be able to call the stored proc from a program..... that
too......NET gives u the power to do that too...
wonderful....

So if
anyone has ever come across a method/tool whereby u could directly create/edit
stored procs it could be really helpfull for me!!!!

The
link below was one i came across while doing a pre-post search
;)
Something which uses a VB.NET and java for
building a web service!!!
http://www7b.software.ibm.com/dmdd/library/tutorials/0308freeze/index.html
it
contains a reference to creating stored procs in db2.... but i need a tool.....
and not an add-in to .NET.... is there one? .... or would we end up writing
one!!!!

or in
the worst case scenario.. something like SQL Query
analyser.....
i cant
seem to load a stored proc into a db2 table using the command window that comes
with db2... i seriously wonder whether my syntax is wrong!!!
what i
tried to do was as simple as

CREATE PROCEDURE

as
select * from
t_table

This
is how u write in SQL Server.. so i tried writing in that way....Buts its
not working...

Hope
someone can help me out in this!!!

Thanks a lot
Regards
Joseph
